Women’s Cross Country Runner Takes All-American Honors

University of Scranton graduate student, Jessica Hoffman from the women’s cross-country team earned All-American honors after a 29th place finish at the NCAA Cross-Country Championship in East Lansing, Michigan.  

Hoffman completed the 6,000-meter course in snowy weather with a final time of 22:36. Hoffman is the only two-time NCAA qualifier in University of Scranton cross-country history and improved on her 42nd place finish in 2021 with her 29th place finish with a field of 292 runners this year.  

This will mark the end of Hoffman’s cross-country career at the University of Scranton where she finished this season as a Landmark Conference individual champion for the second straight year. Won the Landmark Conference team title and received a silver medal in the NCAA Mideast Regionals.
