Scranton Track & Field Runner Breaks Landmark Record

Graduate student Jessica Hoffman of The University of Scranton women’s track and field team broke a Landmark Conference record and finished 10th in the 5,000 meters at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.  

Hoffman finished 10th setting both a conference and school record with a time of 17:10.81 which was a 10 second difference from the previous record holder.  

Hoffman capped off her incredible indoor track & field career becoming the second person in program history to compete at the NCAA Championship meet.
