Dylan Estevez beams in a game winner from outside the box to push the Royals past Wilkes 3-2.

Estevez’s goal came in the 53rd minute to break the 2-2 tie, which turned out to be the eventual game winner.

The Royals faced an early 1-0 deficit after a breakaway goal from a Wilkes attacker to give the Colonels an early 1-0 lead.

Sophomore Ciaran Corr responded quickly with a strike in the top right corner from assist of Logan Campbell to tie the game 1-1. Junior Nick Addamo scored his first goal of the season in the 13th minute to give the Royals a 2-1 lead.

Wilkes started a comeback in the 50th minute off a goal after a misplay in Scranton’s end to tie it 2-2. The Royals showed their experience and fight and regained the lead behind Estevez’s shot to make the final score 3-2.

Scranton improves their record to 6-2-1 which is the best eight game start since 2016.
